How do I make a currency?

I know how to make variables and stuff but the ones I make aren’t available options for scoreboards and prices in shops. Any help would be much appreciated

Never mind, Figured it out. But if you don’t know how to go to environment, player types, click on one of them, attributes, the select the one you want. Makes it so you can add stuff to score board and set the prices of items to those
