But I was going to make some different ball abillities such as. Ball that follows the player, ball that splits after being thrown, and many more ideas soon to come. Then I realized that, I have no idea how to even make the normal ball even work and I could find nothing on google on these other ideas. So yeah, any help is greatly appreciated. (anyone that helps will be invited to Dodgeballer Testing place as contributors)
I like your game idea. I would start by creating a projectile and then creating a dodgeball item and making it shoot that projectile. Go to New item > Ranged weapon, set the cellsheet to a dodgeball sprite, and set the projectile in the Weapon tab. Then, you can make several types of dodgeballs by copying the item and projectile.
Thanks for the advice but that only works on some balls. See, that may work for like fastballs and such but I don’t know if that would work for the two I mentioned in my post. And at the time of your reply I already had the normal ball working good enough. Again thanks for trying to help tho
I see, now this may help with some later ideas but this has a few ideas left out. but I dont think they even knew someone else was going to try and make another dodge ball game with abillities much like the ones in Dodgeball.io. And if your wondering, yes this game im making is heavily inspired by Dodgeball.io (Im talking about the game on modd.io not some other website)
